Who is Andrew Tate?
Rewind to sometime in May, my cousins sent a video of a man shouting obnoxious statements about monetary topics, then proceeded to ask if I knew Andrew Tate. I was clueless as to who this man was, and with first impressions, I formed a quick judgement to label him as just another money-motivated social media influencer. Despite being bang on, there is much more to him than what meets the eye, and I will reveal exactly what piqued my interest today.
Andrew Tate is an individual who speaks his mind and isn’t afraid to be ‘cancelled’. I don’t agree with some of his statements but most of them contain the truth. Because of the controversy he displays in his videos he has gained huge amounts of publicity in a short amount of time. The comments he makes are amusing and entertaining, to say the least but it wasn’t just his demeanour that attracted hundreds of thousands to follow him. Let’s go over a few of his ideologies, speak on his views, and what I think we should be doing
Politics/Economics
The more videos I watched of Andrew Tate the more I was humbled, I didn’t think a loudmouth like him would be as intelligent as he is. He has a great understanding of the world around him which allows him to have a fascinating perspective. This is where I lack immensely, I despise politics/economics even though I know learning about it allows for informed decisions. There is no use in knowing all current affairs but it’s beneficial to know important updates.
For me, I can base my investments and business strategies depending on an economical standpoint. The more informed, the better judgement I can make and prepare accordingly. If you’re someone who doesn’t have investments or a business at stake, I would still advise staying up to date at least. Knowing where you stand in the economy but not so involved that it’s a waste of time.
Matrix
Andrew Tate likes to say he has escaped the matrix which is the normal life we’re conditioned to live aka the rat race. To be frank, he’s right and his views relating to this are rational. It’s poised as risky to leave the conventional 9-5 and pursue your passion. It’s normal to be seen as unorthodox since the vast majority never took the risk either because they didn’t have the means or they were too scared. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with living a 9-5, it provides balance, and routine for those who choose to do it. But, for most, it’s a decision that has been made for them and they are not willing to do what it takes to break out of the norm. Anyway, this is a topic that deserves its own post.
I’m glad Andrew Tate has gone viral and is gaining an audience at an explosive rate. As much as he speaks nonsense, there is just as much wisdom as there is farfetched statements. I guess it’s nice to see someone who isn’t doing something for the sole purpose of clout, that’s how I see it anyway. He wants to expose the crazy world we live in, share interesting thoughts, and his Bugatti. I wish more ‘influencers’ had his emphatic behaviour instead of seeking to please those around them in worry of being cancelled. It is refreshing to have someone on social media who continues to speak up and not care of the repercussions. The comical part is that most of his statements aren’t ridiculous, they contain a lot of truths that result in offending the masses. I never cared to meet influencers but it’d be an experience to meet this man.
