Deception
You only know what they want you to know. Never think for a moment they have informed you for good. There is ill intention behind every move they make. A plot or plan you could say. They want you to think it’s beneficial when that is far from the truth. They serve their motive to fit their hidden agenda. The corruption is blatant, paired with power, you’re insignificant in the proverbial picture, yet still suffer the consequences. Ignorance is bliss, stand by that as they continue to poison your mind. Once you’re hooked, the process snowballs causing the need to ask questions. Fear and doubt begins while they feed you trivial junk.
Today’s subject is Media. I don’t trust anything that comes from the media, I don’t want to come across a lunatic but how can I place my trust in them when they only show coverage of what suits them and not the public. There is some good that comes from the news that we can benefit from. It’s just how often we can say the media has our best intentions in mind. There is an ulterior motive they will never leak. If the source was from an independent organisation then I may pay attention until then, I will happily remain ignorant.
If you’re in this much power and you have the ability to control what is publicised, there is no chance you will be allowed to speak your mind. Those in power know what influence these people will have so they’re limited. Freedom of speech doesn’t exist.
If a media company can reach millions of people in a short amount of time frame, you can most definitely assume there are restrictions in place. Social media influencers have a specific demographic, news outlets target the entire nation. You’ve seen it yourself, one article or news broadcast can influence people’s decision making. Some people cannot think for themselves so they subconsciously turn to other people and base it off them. ‘This person said that, that’s what I think this’, not being able to think for yourself is exactly what those in power are after. If you think for yourself that means it’s harder to get you to roll over. If something comes from the news it’s automatically viewed as reliable, by the ignorant of course which is 80% of the country.
I will admit there are times I read up on the news but not voluntarily. My phone automatically sends important updates if my news app deems it breaking news. My philosophy is that if I am lacking information about current affairs my phone will update as per the importance. My mind is full of junk as it is, I don’t need to fill it with more information serving no real purpose. Save yourself from the poison I call the media, there are news articles better left unread. If it benefits you and your life then I’m not in a position to speak, not that I am anyway. If it’s for time passing then you’re wasting your time that you could be spending doing something for yourself.
If it seems like I’m thinking about this deeper than I should, you’re right, I am. However, I would rather be in a position where I’m questioning worldly affairs than to be a servant to it. At least I know where I stand as opposed to people who are relaxed and never question. I started reading a fiction book to develop my creative side and writing abilities. I’m still early in the book but the idea of the book is explaining how the government controls the actions, thoughts and even emotions of its citizens. One sentence that I’ve read multiple times is ‘Big brother is watching you’. Seems very fitting and relevant how we are living, I suggest picking up the book, I know it will be a great read.
